Are you interested in volunteering and serving as a Director for APLO? Do you enjoy problem solving and helping out our community? If so, please consider throwing your hat in the ring for our upcoming election of Directors. We have 4 seats up for election this summer. The only requirements are that you are a member and in good standing on your dues.

ARCD Chipping Program

The Amador Resource Conservation District offers a FREE Neighborhood and Community Chipping Program for residents of Amador County. Landowners create piles alongside their driveway or roadside, submit a Request for Service, and the ARCD will send contractors out to chip the material, free of charge. Volunteers care for the creek walk and pond area. It’s a great place for some quiet time or a picnic.

APLO residents can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the creek that feed the pond. We appreciate the volunteers that care for this area.

To help prevent fires, keep the roads clear and maintain a nice community, volunteers are always out clearing brush and maintaining the roads.
